Don’t Let Yourself Be Gaslit

Conversations shouldn’t feel like mazes. Yet somehow, I’ve found myself walking circles in the same four walls, dizzy from the way topics twist and multiply. One moment, I’m sharing my truth—something honest, something simple—and the next, I’m defending myself against accusations I never saw coming.

This is what gaslighting feels like: clarity being clouded, truth being twisted, and your voice slowly getting smaller under the weight of someone else’s words.

Here’s what I remind myself now: If every conversation leaves you confused, questioning yourself, or apologizing for things you don’t even understand—you’re not being heard, you’re being handled. And you deserve more than that.

If every conversation leaves you more confused than heard, you’re not being listened to—you’re being gaslit.
